If we haven’t already addressed your concern, give us a call and we’re happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

We specialize in providing top-notch boarding, daycare, playtime, and grooming services exclusively for cats and dogs.

Plus, for those looking to add a loyal companion to their family, we’re also proud breeders of AKC-Certified Labrador Retrievers, known for their gentle nature and intelligence.

We opened our doors in 1994 at our Ponemah Road (Route 122) Amherst New Hampshire location. And we have been caring for pets for over 40 years. Our clients live in the surrounding towns of Amherst, Mount Vernon, Hollis, Merrimack, Milford, Nashua, and Bedford.

No, we do not have a veterinarian on staff, but our commitment to your pet’s well-being goes beyond just play and stay.

We have a qualified veterinarian on-call for any emergencies or health concerns that may arise, ensuring peace of mind for you and the best possible care for your pet.

Plus, with our facilities being monitored around the clock, your furry friends are always safe, secure, and under attentive supervision.

At McOsker Kennels, we’re not just a playtime daycare and boarding kennel; we’re your pet’s home away from home. Our professional grooming services ensure your furry family members are pampered, cared for, and returned to you looking their best.

Why choose us? Because we understand that your pets are more than just animals; they’re part of your family. Our dedicated team, with their passion and expertise, guarantees an unmatched level of care and attention. Trust us to treat your pets with the same love and dedication we show our own—because here, we’re all family.

In addition to your pet’s immunization records, we have a list of “Helpful Hints for Boarding Your Pets” which includes a list of supplies.

We suggest your bring their own bed, extra bedding and toys to make your pet more comfortable. While we feed Blueseal Lamb and Rice during their stay, we find that changes in food may cause stomach irritation and diarrhea. You are welcome to bring a supply of food for your pet’s stay. We have a refrigerator and microwave.

Please do not bring rope bones or real bones as they as they may pose a threat to your pet’s health.

Yes, indeed. Our feline friends enjoy the luxury of our climate-controlled cat loft, thoughtfully situated above the office to ensure a tranquil, stress-free environment. This exclusive area is designed with your cat’s comfort and well-being in mind, offering a serene retreat where they can relax, play, and lounge in temperature-controlled bliss.

It’s just one of the ways we go above and beyond to cater to the unique needs of every pet in our care.

Our facility is dedicated exclusively to providing premium boarding experiences for dogs and cats.

For owners of other types of pets, we recommend exploring alternative care options. Consider services like a trusted pet or house sitter, a local veterinarian who offers boarding, or perhaps a friend or family member who can provide your pet with the love and attention they deserve while you’re away.

Our priority is to ensure every pet receives the best possible care, even if it means pointing you in the right direction outside our services.

Certain pets may not adapt well to boarding environments, especially if they have aggression issues. For the safety and well-being of all our guests, we are not able to board or groom pets with known aggression problems.

If your pet has an aggression problem, please seek alternate services, such as a pet/house sitter, a veterinarian, or a friend or family member.

Please note, for pets requiring life-sustaining medications, we recommend boarding with a specialized animal hospital to guarantee immediate medical attention if needed. Your pet’s well-being is our top priority, and we’re here to accommodate their health needs with the utmost care and attention.

It’s not uncommon for pets to experience stress in a new environment like a boarding kennel, leading to symptoms such as excessive drooling, fatigue, and sometimes diarrhea. We’re proactive about this and are more than ready to share strategies with you to help minimize these stress effects.

After a stay filled with activities and new experiences, it’s natural for your pet to feel a bit more tired once they’re back in their familiar home setting. You might also notice an increased thirst and more frequent drinking. Rest assured, these are typical behaviors reflecting their adjustment back to home life.

However, we understand if these changes might cause you concern. Please, don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or for further reassurance. Your peace of mind and your pet’s well-being are our top priorities.
